Screening in Christchurch

It`s actually one week since „The Wounded Brick“ had its first screening outside Europe in Christchurch, New Zealand. Sarah Borree, the host of the screening, was happy about the way it went. About a 150 people came to see the movie –  architects, engineers and urban planers, but also many people from Christchurch, which were interested in the topic.

Sarah gave an introduction to our movie, comparing the situation in L’Aquila with Christchurch and at the reception after the screening there were lively discussions.

The profit  of this screening went to Gap Filler, an urban initiative, aiming to activate vacant sites within Christchurch with creative projects for community benefit.

Take a look at:

There seems to be interest in further screenings in New Zealand, we keep you informed.
