When we started thinking about making "The Wounded Brick" we had the choice between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Director Milos Forman put it in this words:
In Europe, producing a film is being in a zoo – you
are kept in a cage but you have a roof over your head and someone
feeds you every day; in the US it is the jungle – you are free to go
where you like but everyone is trying to kill you.
